NEMSU-Cantilan is located along the Pacific coast, 3 km. from the inter-island wharf in the town of Cantilan. It is situated 117 km. south of Surigao City, and 67 km. north of Tandag City.
The campus is considered the College of Technological Education. It offers ten (10) degree programs and eight (8) of which are accredited by AACCUP.
The campus boasts of its buildings and facilities in Architectural Drafting, Automotive and Mechanical Technology, Electrical and Electronics Technology, Home Economics, Food Trades, Garments, and Computer/Information Technology also the state-of-the-art laboratories (Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Speech Lab and AVR).
NEMSU-San Miguel Campus, the College of Forestry and Agriculture, is located at Barangay Carromata, SNAS, Municipality of San Miguel. It is the biggest campus in terms of land area with a total of 779 hectares divided into 3 physical contour areas: 379 hectares-the lowland; 175 hectares-the upland and 207 hectares-the forest reserves. Viewed on its scenic plateau, the campus is overlooking the biggest lowland rice bowl of the Province.
The campus is identified by CHED as the Provincial Institute of Agriculture and Forestry (PIAF) under the NAFES program. With the present trend of Agricultural development, this college will cater the needs of the Province and the region as whole for skilled Agro-forestry workers.
NEMSU-Cagwait is located in the heart of Poblacion Cagwait and a tricycle away from the Cagwait White Beach, a known tourist destination in the Province and the venue of the annual Kaliguan Festival.
Its flagship program is Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) with the following majors: Automotive Technology, Furniture and Cabinet Making, Civil Technology, Food and Garment Trades. In 2012, the program passed the preliminary survey prior to a Level I accreditation.
NEMSU-Lianga is the Campus that specialized in Fisheries and Marine Sciences. In September 2009, it was identified by CHED as the National University/College of Fisheries (NUCAF) in CARAGA Region under the National Agriculture/Fisheries Education System (NAFES) project with a grant of P1M per year in 5 years.
The campus has a notable Research Culture especially in Coastal Resource Management. It has experts in Corals, Seaweeds, Seagrass, Fin Fishes, Holothurias and Mangroves. Its on-going externally-funded researches on seaweeds and mangroves, its fish farming activities (Bangus, Tilapia and Crab) and extension programs along the coastal barangays of Lianga are proofs of how far the campus have gone in the area of not just research but extension. Most of its programs are already accredited.
In 2010, its extension program gained national recognition when the Project Coastal Resource Initiative in Lianga Bay was awarded as Best HEI Extension Program in Caraga Region.
NEMSU-Tagbina is the only campus located in the 2nd District 2 of Surigao del Sur. It has a total land area of 215,418 square meters of which 77.347 square meters is utilized for demo farm which include the Bioreactor Technology Processing Center, Pastureland and Coconut plantation.
SDSSU-Tagbina is the Campus for Agri-business and Commercial Sciences. It aims to lead in providing Agri-business and commercial education that will develop student’s entrepreneurial competence responsive to the needs of the agri-based industries.
In 2012, six (6) of its programs passed the preliminary survey visit by AACCUP. It has also established notable linkages for research like DA-BAR, AFNR and DOST-PCARRD.
NEMSU-Bislig Campus was formerly known as University of Southeastern Philippines – Bislig Campus, which took three years in transition until terms in the Memorandum of Agreement inked in 2018 came to an end in 2021. The Campus is located 14 kilometers Northwest of Brgy. Mangagoy and is within the allocated General Institutional Zone (covering an area of 50.7 ha in a 3.55 km Perimeter) per the 2017-2026 Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) of Bislig City.
The campus would support human resources of Bislig – PAIC Industry Development Plan comprising light to heavy components of agri-based, agroforestry based, aqua-marine based, mineral-based, and footloose industry. Thus, BS Forestry, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Civil Engineering, and Technology courses have been vital to implementing the plan. In 2008, the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English was created in response to growing demand and increased opportunities to the far-flung area residents of Bislig City to take the course. In 2018, the Technology course was upgraded to Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education as part of the answers to the need for technical skills resources inside and outside the Caraga Region.
NEMSU-Bislig aims to be the Center for Agroforestry, Paper and Wood Industry. Currently, five (5) of its programs passed the AACCUP Level II accreditation.
