𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭


The North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) held a successful Refresher Course Training on Internal Quality Audit on October 17-18, 2024, at Shacene Pension House, Tandag City. The event, spearheaded by the university's Quality Assurance Office, aimed to enhance the internal auditing capabilities of its personnel, ensuring continued compliance with quality standards.

The two-day event was graced by Engr. Severino M. Villalon, Jr., an esteemed BCJA Auditor, who served as the resource speaker. Engr. Villalon shared his extensive expertise in internal quality audits, providing practical insights and methodologies essential for auditing various university processes and functions.

In her opening message, Dr. Evelyn T. Bagood, Campus Director of NEMSU Tandag, emphasized the importance of consistent quality assurance practices in ensuring that NEMSU maintains its educational excellence. She encouraged participants to actively engage in the discussions and apply the knowledge gained in their respective units.

Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon, NEMSU President, delivered an inspirational message, highlighting the vital role of quality audits in achieving the university's long-term goals. He commended the initiative of the Quality Assurance Office and challenged the participants to uphold the standards that would make NEMSU a premier educational institution in the region.

The refresher course highlighted critical auditing principles and reinforced participants' skills in identifying areas for improvement in internal processes.
