The official studio recording of the NEMSU Hymn has been successfully completed in Davao City. This initiative aims to standardize and preserve the university’s official hymn, reinforcing its significance in fostering institutional identity across all campuses.

Students from Tandag Campus and Tagbina Campus took part in the recording process, representing the university’s student body in this milestone project. They were joined by key officials and faculty members, including Dr. Evelyn T. Bagood (lyricist), Mr. Carl Martin R. Engcoy (arranger), Mr. Castor V. Balacuit (musician), Dr. Mick Mars P. Silvano, Dr. Shyla O. Moreno, Ms. Kim Mary E. Narcana, Mr. Revelyn G. Enderes, Dr. Romel C. Nemiño, and Mr. Rojil Jone E. Cañete. Their presence and active participation ensured the smooth execution of the recording sessions.

The team worked on refining the hymn’s official rendition, ensuring clarity, precision, and adherence to musical standards. The studio recording will serve as the definitive audio reference for official university functions, ceremonies, and events, strengthening NEMSU’s institutional presence.

With the successful completion of this project, NEMSU moves forward in its commitment to upholding its traditions while embracing new ways to enhance its identity as a premier academic institution.
