The NEMSU Graduate School faculty joined forces for the 2-day Curriculum Review, Revision and Mapping of the program offerings on June 13-14, 2024 at Gold Bar Grill & Restaurant in Tandag City. Participants included Graduate School faculty, key university officials, and the University President.

The first day featured resource speakers Dr. Aldrin A. Darilag, Commissioner and Chairperson of the Board of Regents, and Dr. Alma Sy-Patron, OIC Regional Director of Caraga Commission on Higher Education. Their insightful discussions focused on aligning the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) with graduate school frameworks and aligning institutional program course outcomes with curriculum mapping, respectively.

In the afternoon, experts from various disciplines assessed the current curriculum, ensuring its alignment with the evolving demands of higher education. Their evaluations aimed to ensure that NEMSU’s programs remain relevant and responsive to both local and global educational needs.

The second day commenced with Dr. Sy-Patron's insightful session on enhancing Graduate School syllabi. She stressed adherence to the CMO 15 series of 2019, which outlines the policies, standards, and guidelines for graduate school programs. Following her presentation, faculty members from various disciplines engaged in a syllabi workshop, collaborating to refine and improve their course outlines. This initiative of the Graduate School addressed the ever-evolving, demanding continuous review and revision of curricula to meet the dynamic needs of both students and the global workforce.
