A Memorandum Of Agreement Signing was held between the North Eastern Mindanao State University (Represented by NEMSU President Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon) and Adela Serra Ty Memorial Medical Center (represented by Medical Chief II Panfilo Jorge M. Tremedal III, MD, MHA, FPCHA, FPSMSG) at the Culmination Program of ASTMMC’s National Health Week Celebration.

NEMSU and ASTMMC agreed to establish partnerships for it can have far-reaching positive impacts on education, research, healthcare delivery, and the overall attainment of medical services to the public. This collaboration also provides an opportunity of fruitful engagements as NEMSU is on its way in opening the College of Medicine. Thus, ASTMMC can provide medical expertise and assistance in the pursuit of opening the College of Medicine. In the same way, NEMSU can also assist the medical institution in providing ongoing professional development for healthcare providers. Access to academic resources, workshops, and collaborative opportunities helps medical workers stay updated on the latest advancements in their field.

This partnership leverages the strengths of both sectors to create a synergistic relationship that benefits patients, healthcare providers, researchers, educators, and society as a whole.
