The North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU)-Main Campus participated in the foot parade and opening ceremony of the 64th Araw ng Surigao del Sur, a grand celebration commemorating the province's rich history and cultural heritage.

NEMSU's involvement in the Araw ng Surigao del Sur not only highlights the university's commitment to community engagement but also emphasizes its role in preserving and promoting local culture. The opening ceremony, which featured speeches from local officials and cultural performances from NEMSU Singing Ambassadors, served as a platform for NEMSU to demonstrate its solidarity with the wider Surigao del Sur community.
