North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) students represented the university in the Research Festival 2025 held at FPT University, Quy Nhon Campus, Binh Dinh, Vietnam, on August 14–17.
Christian John Arpilleda from the Department of Business and Management and Juros Lasco from the Department of Industrial Technology advanced to the Final Round in the Business Administration and Multimedia Communication Committees, respectively. They were accompanied by Dr. Loth Orozco, Internationalization Head of NEMSU-Cantilan Campus.

Together with delegates from the University of Mindanao (UM), the NEMSU representatives toured the FPT University–Binh Dinh Campus, visited classrooms and facilities, and joined a cultural exchange session that introduced them to basic Vietnamese words, numbers, and traditions. They also attended a music session where they tried traditional Vietnamese instruments.

The participants also visited Explorascience in Quy Nhon, Vietnam’s first science discovery center and the second of its kind in Southeast Asia, featuring interactive exhibits, live shows, and a planetarium.
