In an effort to strengthen the campaign against Gender-Based Sexual Harassment (GBSH), the North Eastern Mindanao State University Tandag Campus (NEMSU-Tandag) took proactive measures by hosting the RA 11313 Safe Spaces Act, also known as the Bawal Bastos Law Seminar, on April 24, 2024, at NEMSU-Tandag Gymnasium.
The seminar aimed to empower and inform students about their rights under this legislation, equipping them with the tools necessary to recognize, report, and prevent instances of harassment.
In addition to this significant event, representatives from the Regional Recruit and Selection Units (RRSU) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) also participated and organized the Recruitment Information Drive. Through this initiative, PNP RRSU personnel were able to disseminate information about the agency's recruitment process to qualified and interested individuals in the campus.
