𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) made its mark in the recently concluded 2025 ASEAN Culmination Contests held on August 28, 2025, at Robinsons Place, Butuan City, bringing home multiple awards across different categories.
From NEMSU Tandag Campus, the team of Johny E. Aporbo and Vaughn C. Chan, coached by Mr. Seberino H. Arriesgado Jr., secured 2nd Place in the ASEAN-inspired Fruit and Vegetable Carving Competition.
Meanwhile, NEMSU Cantilan Campus clinched two awards. Reinon D. Rivera and Charles Justine L. Febrero won 3rd Place in the Dessert Display Competition, while Jeann Luengas Amasan and Romy Huelma Rosil captured 3rd Place in the ASEAN Attire Competition. They were mentored by Ms. Blessy Antido and Ms. Mary-Ann G. Geli.
Equally commendable were the achievements of NEMSU Cagwait Campus, which also earned two distinctions. The duo of Rebicca C. Silvoza and Christine Mae B. Tagnipez, coached by Ms. Georgelyn G. Andrew, bagged 3rd Place in the Dessert Buffet Set-Up Competition. In addition, Alphon G. Ampilan and Cairel G. Omega, also trained by Ms. Andrew, secured 3rd Place in the Fruit and Vegetable Carving Competition.
The ASEAN Culmination Contests served as a platform for students to display their talents while promoting ASEAN culture and identity. NEMSU’s consistent performance reflects its commitment to honing the skills of its students not only in academics but also in cultural and creative endeavors.
