North Eastern Mindanao State University joins the nation in observing National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) this July 2025, fully supporting the initiative of the City of Tandag—KUMIKILOS (Kayang Umaksyon ng Mamamayan na Isabuhay ang Kahandaan ng Bawat Isa Para Maging Ligtas sa Oras ng Sakuna).

This year’s theme reinforces the importance of collective action, preparedness, and community awareness in building a safer and more resilient Philippines. Through campus-wide activities, awareness campaigns, and inter-agency cooperation, NEMSU remains committed to empowering communities and fostering a culture of safety and resilience.
