The North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) Librarians participated in the Tree Planting Activity (Arbor Day) last June 25, 2022, at Barangay Bahi, Barobo, Surigao Del Sur as part of the celebration of the PRC's 49th Founding Anniversary and PRC Week Celebration 2022, with the theme “PRC @49: Forging Ahead Towards PROFESSIONALISM, RESILIENCY, AND COMPETITIVENESS.”

The participation of the PRC is anchored on PRC Resolution No. 1251 series of 2020 which declares the 25th of June every year as PRC Nationwide Tree Planting Day and makes it a part of the PRC Week Celebration.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10912, otherwise known as the “Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Act of 2016”, an act which requires CPD as the mandatory requirement for the renewal of Professional Identification Card of all registered and licensed professionals under the regulation of the PRC each professional who actively participated in the event will be given with six (6) unit points.
