Attends "Pagtutulay, Pagtutuloy" Event at Dusit Thani Residence Davao
Davao City, September 15, 2023– North Eastern Mindanao State University's President, Prof. Nemesio G. Loayon, played a prominent role in strengthening partnerships within the Philippine public higher education landscape during today's "Pagtutulay, Pagtutuloy" event held at the prestigious Dusit Thani Residence Davao.
The event, organized by the University of the Philippines brought together esteemed leaders from various Philippine public higher education institutions to discuss the future of education and collaboration.
President Loayon stated, "Our commitment to providing quality education remains unwavering, but in today's rapidly changing world, we must adapt and seek partnerships that enable us to offer the best learning experiences to our students.".
The "Pagtutulay, Pagtutuloy" event served as a platform for leaders in Philippine higher education to exchange ideas, best practices, and strategies for the continued advancement of the nation's educational system. It also highlighted the crucial role that institutions like North Eastern Mindanao State University play in shaping the future of the Philippines.
This is a dream coming into reality in the leadership of the 22nd UP President Atty. Angelo A. Jimenez, to bring the UP quality into the SUCs, where there will be no monopoly of knowledge and expertise, being the National University in the country. His investiture "Panaad at Kabilin" was held yesterday at UP Mindanao for the first time in UP history.
Prof. Loayon's participation in this significant event showcased his university's commitment to excellence and collaboration, further solidifying North Eastern Mindanao State University's position as a beacon of higher education in the region.
President Loayon expressed his optimism for the future of Philippine education, stating, "Today's discussions have opened new doors and possibilities for our institution. We are eager to embark on this journey of transformation and partnership, ultimately benefiting our students and the entire nation."
