With the goal of fostering an informed academic community, the North Eastern Mindanao State University’s (NEMSU) seven campuses convened on-site and online for the 4th NEMSUlti Executive Press Conference, highlighting the administration’s ongoing developments and achievements at NEMSU-Cantilan Campus yesterday, February 3.

Through a live broadcast and Zoom, university key officials, student leaders, campus press, and stakeholders attended the conference to strengthen communication between the administration and the academic community through an open forum.

University President III, Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon, presented the fiscal year 2024 report, featuring the university’s progress toward its long-term vision of becoming a research institution focused on advancing technology and innovation for sustainable development.

Dr. Loayon emphasized the university's commitment to academic excellence by highlighting the high board exam success rate of graduates, which reflects the strength of the institution’s workforce and its adherence to quality education standards.

Regarding infrastructure development, Dr. Loayon shared updates on the construction of a three-story dormitory, a three-story academic building for the engineering department, a new library, and a two-story smart building at the Main Campus, along with a multi-sports covered court at Cantilan Campus and a computer laboratory at Tagbina Campus.

The open forum, a key part of the press conference, allowed participants to raise concerns and discuss ongoing initiatives and strategies to ensure that relevant issues are addressed.
